Wednseday Night

I really haven't been that busy the last few nights. Just doing homework, studying, or hanging out. Yesterday was a really nice day. The sun was shining, it was warm (75- 80 degrees) and there were very few clouds in the sky. I ran in the afternoon and went to a movie at night. Instead of going to campus church, the school was showing "The Passion", the Mel Gibson re-creation of the crucifixion, in the basketball arena to all that wanted to watch it. I hadn't seen the movie yet (one of the few people on campus that didn't watch it in the theatres). I knew it was a pretty heavily hyped movie, and knew it had to be pretty good to get all the attention it did over the summer. I thought it was a good movie, really showing the emotion of the time and capitalizing on the week or so before Jesus Christ was crucified. There was a lot of emotion in the arena, even though most of the students were watching the film for the nth time. That was pretty much how I spent my night, outside of my trip to Walmart, which proved to be a fun time! I went to buy soap and toothpaste, but I saw another movie that looked kind of funny: "Bring It On 2"! I knew I had to buy it! But going through the checkout line with that movie (chick flic) and with a pink keychain (dont ask!) the checkout lady gave me some weird looks!
